Caramel Drip Recipe for a Wedding Cake

Cake trend Caramel drip recipe. In this video Lorelie shares her caramel drip recipe for a wedding cake. The bride wanted a sheer caramel dripping over a semi naked three tiered wedding cake. The recipe is in the video along with showing how to apply it. Hi everybody it’s Friday. Today is the day of the wedding.

And I’m making a brown sugar caramel glaze to put on the wedding cake. The recipe is:

one cup brown sugar
half a stick of butter, I used salted.
one half cup heavy cream
tablespoon of vanilla
salt to taste.

This is a double batch and you cook it for about eight minutes.

Keep it moving so it doesn’t burn and then you let it cool. And if you need to you can microwave it for a little bit just to get it softened up to put on the cake.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I tried a salted caramel from another recipe, but it was too salty, and it scorched so easily. Thank you! The wedding is in a little over a week.

  6. Donna Hoyt says:

This looks absolutely delicious. Can't wait to see finished wedding cake. Well done!

  7. The cake looks great! The filling looks really thick to me… do you determine how thick to make it? It looks as thick as the cake layers.

I would love to see the finished product!
