Ethnic Vegan Food Recipe: Onion Bhaji



I demonstrate how to make an Indian food recipe called Onion Bhaji, which is basically onion fritters made with chickpea flour.

Ingredients:
1 large (or 2 medium) onions
1 large carrot
1/2 bunch or so fresh cilantro
oil (enough for frying)

Batter:
2 cups or so chickpea flour
water (enough to mix)
1 tsp or so salt

Optional:
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp garam masala powder

Experiment!
Red chili powder makes them hotter.
Try dipping them in chutney or sauce.

I got three batches (about 20) from this recipe.
